A bite guard is a dental appliance used to protect teeth of TMJ patients from the harmful effects of tooth grinding. The appliance is made of a soft material that fits comfortably over the bottom teeth and helps to reposition the jaw and relax the jaw muscles. A Bite Guard is one effective treatment method for patients who suffer from TMJ.
